In respect of no one knows you’re spot on but neither do you but you automatically slate the club.
It's not a natter of " slating" . It's making reasonable assumption on what little we ever get to know.

The club , Speakman anyway as it is all on him, need criticising here. It's not the first time. It's only six months since the last chaotic pantomime.

Agree with this too, our under 23s have been getting battered on a regular basis for a few years, this won’t be helping those lads we want to bring through

He is in over his head, if is clear to see. He gets the benefit of the doubt often, just through supporter loyalty.

But any objective look can see that while player recruitment is good, which is basically all he has ever done before, that and work with young players, he is failing on the rest. He gets the big things wrong, and in another business that would and should see you out.

It's a very bad sign that he seems completely immune to the consequences of his failures, and the owner needs to look at this. He might have to accept his pick isn't up to it.

youre reasonable assumption is to blame the club not the twàt that left us in the lurch in a Friday before a game after signing a rolling contract that he’s had at other clubs.
My reasonable assumption is that the club is not perfect but we have a plan and we need to stick to it and not break the bank for a decent manager. He’s a cock marra I don’t see it any other way.
We both want the best for Sunderland AFC of that I’m pretty sure about, just different opinions.

Agree, but it's a point of principle - no point sacking (and paying him off) when Stoke are primed to pay us for his service. might as well get a bit of coin

I wonder if we even get much compo though. I reckon we won't.

Let's see if he is on such a flimsy and relatively low paid contract when he signs for Stoke. I doubt it. Hardly any manager I can think of is, at any club. Even the bloke at Watford is on a two year deal.

If the club insist on a rolling deal, then a manager insisting on speaking elsewhere can be expected.

But we'll see who arrives. But I don't expect it to be anyone who will cost any money in compo or wages. The next bloke will probably be idle now and ready to take any chance that comes his way.
First time we’ve ever had a rolling contract and I’m prity sure it was down to neil.
