that is great news, the dark clouds hanging over the club from the Allam regime are finally lifting & the sun is starting to shine again!!! (I can't believe we suffered 11 years of that arrogant old fool ripping the heart out of our club)
He scores when he wantss He scores when he wantsss Oscar estupinan. He’ll shag your nan when he wants
Hull City manager Shota Arveladze told BBC Radio Humberside: "Six games, seven goals, that is the prime of a good quality striker. "The boys understand that he needs more balls in the area. He's good there, he's searching, he's dominating, he does not leave easy balls for others. The Big Vern transfer is on hold as no one wants the risk and ambivalence" Coventry City manager Mark Robins told BBC CWR: "We were poor. We kept giving the ball away and giving goals away is becoming a bad habit. The goals they've scored today, we've gifted them. "That's seven goals we have conceded in three away games and we have scored five. We can't do that and not get more points. "Ultimately, we have to be better."
Great performance - really starting to come together and we still have half a team waiting to come back from injury - Oscar really is a proper goal scorer / striker, give him half a chance and it's in - thought Tetteh played well too - Slater and Woods were busy getting stuck in across the middle - about time we hadf some grit - anyone still miss Honeyman - bit concerned about our defence - too much fannying about at the back, too many short passes across the back putting players under pressure and losing the ball - totally unnecessary and resulting in too many goals being shipped - think Jones will find himself on the bench and possibly Coyle before too long once our walking wounded return and possible new faces - great atmosphere and good decibel level - well done to all concerned - happy days at City once again
Great to see the positivity around the club and it feels like we’ve been getting the rub of the green for a change. Weird, then, to see that we’ve got the joint worst goals against and had the fewest shots in the division, while Ingram has made more saves than any other keeper. On top of this we’re averaging only about 30% possession. I know we’re missing important players but these stats include games when we weren’t. Are we just riding our luck or does luck not matter when you’ve got a striker who scores more than a goal a game?
