Battling performance today and 3 more home points by the odd goal. Oscar again

    As I said earlier

Thought Slater had a good game again. Figueiredo looked quite poor. Every other pass was a hospital pass to either Alfie or Greaves. Gave away the pen too. He’s looked a bit unsure of himself last couple of games.

Good result. Fig and Elder had pretty poor games. Didn't think Covil managed much in the #10 role before the injury. Both of their goals were quite disappointing (then I'm sure they'll say about all 3 of ours...) Onwards and upwards.

Oscar should have scored 8 today if he can't put the effort in to score at least half of that then he should be benched.

Well got the score right but Covil, poor kid, was not involved in any of them unlike my prediction.
Figueredo as I have said previously has a few mistakes in him as he showed again today.
Slater esopecially early doors had a great game. Canon when he came on also had a good game.
Elder was not up to his normal standards.
And Oscar has just started he is going to score lotws more.
    Defensively we were poor.

Hanging on at the end after looking comfortable at 3.1, Longman should have made it 4.2 with a bit more composure however the main thing for me is going into the game with our injury situation and coming through it with 3 points. Pub is always better on a Saturday night with a city win. Enjoy everyone

Terrific result today again.. especially when you consider how many potential first team squad absentees there are, kudos to Shota, he has got them working for each other and believing in Acuns dream. Gonna be one hell of a ride once we get the injured back, and gel properly, exciting times ahead.

He certainly should have. That's not the city way though is it?

Great ball through to Longman. Deserved a better finish.
Leeds losing will make the pub even better, especially if any of those despicable inadequates Hull Whites or East Yorks Whites are in.

Wonder if Vern’s kid still thinks the defence is alright and doesn’t need strengthening. 7 goals in 2 games now, need to be more composed.

A good game and a good performance, if we can win without the big players, we will be just fine this season.

I fear badly for Coventry, they looked awful.
