And that before we start on his family, their associates and Sartori… Sadly we always have and always have got this mob of defeatists desperate for a reason to have a pop at the club and whoever. It will never change.
Forgive me for not trawlling through all the posts above... But have I missed something? AN has not left the Club, has he? He's using his contract terms to speak to ther Clubs, just like any player would do. Yes, it's looking increasingly like he is away, however, there has been no Stoke scarf in his hands yet, and there hasn't been a press conference. Surely the Club's protocol now is to skeak to him and ask him what he wants? He will only leave this Club if either one of two things stranspire - A - He wants to leave B- We don't want him Niether has happened yet though....
unfortunately think its to far down the line to sort it out now....cant ever remember a case where a mamager didnt take control of his clubs games then had talks, agreed to carry on
Surely it is no coincidence that this has all happened while KLD was uncontactable for a while. To me this appears to have been engineered by Alex Neil / Stoke to coincide with when Speakman was running the ship. I could be totally wrong but thats what it appears like from the outside.
It’s the timing that hurts. I don’t know the background to the contract stuff. Maybe Speakman thought he was on the right money. Obviously Neil thought he wasn’t. We’re clearly short of first team bodies. Lots of quality youngsters in but that’s not enough for this season. We could even lose some new faces because of this. Bit of a balls up all round really. Oh and Neil looks like Dominic Cummings. So he’s clearly a two faced back stabbing twat. Must be a statement this morning sometime.
He was gone when he chose to speak to them. He showed he’s no loyalty to our club, our club taking in 30k plus in the 3rd v Stoke, and I don’t wanna disrespect them cos their fans are decent, but haway, it’s a downgrade. He’s either not attached to the club, which is ‘see ya later then’ or he’s trying to leverage the club for money, which is a clean ‘**** off then’ He hasn’t come out in any of this and suggested he’s keen to stay, he’s missed his presser to go and speak to another club. The disrespect is insurmountable for me personally and I’m sure most will feel the same. Only way I’d forgive is if he doesn’t sign a new deal, stays, and used it to leverage some signings for the good of the team. That I’d appreciate.
I do fully support Kyril, I get on very well with him, I also think he made 2 bad appointments in Speakman and Davison. I would love to see them gone, BUT Kyril will not devote the time needed at this club to turn it round. The CEO needs to be in total control, we don't have that. He needs to stick around till its running smooth.
In theory you're right, but the fact he missed the press conference and is likely missing the match today would suggest otherwise. If there was any chance it was just preliminary discussions and a possible interview, it could have waited until Sunday or early next week. He's gone, and if it falls through for him at Stoke for some reason he'll be straight on gardening leave.
Loads define that mate, he does not own any property up here, rented Bracewell 2nd house then tree house in Ramside.
