Very different set of circumstances between now and the last couple of times we were recruiting and he knocked us back mind.
Terry is a definite non starter, mate. Keano though, on a short term contract, isn't there something lingering in the recesses of your mind that thinks...you know what, one of the greatest players/motivators in prem history might just be the man to get our group of talented young players to push on to glory!? He's got a team promoted from the champo before, hasn't he?
It can't possibly be anything else. Whoever it is, it won't be an experienced manager, which is usually pretty handy in this league and he won't be getting a big wedge if they couldn't reward the bloke who got them up.
Based on prediction league placings the job should be a shoe in for me, @farnboromackem and @Blond Bombshell on a caretaker basis
Said the last time I’d like to have a punt on Freddie Ljunberg or Jody Morris or similar Young up coming caoches who want to prove themselves and have been with teams who have played good football
I'm honestly not sure. I think he's personality is something our fans would enjoy and our players would respect. His approach at Everton was "back to basics" but most managers do that in a firefighting situation. If we speak to him and are convinced that he has good ideas about the style of football, then I'd be content.
