Some question marks about his attitude, we have a no dick heads policy, let's go with that. Paqueta that is.
Plus he's **** footballer all round https://www.youtube.com/shorts/WWdiQ4DVIZU I really hope we don't go anywhere near him.
I can't see it. All the noise yesterday, from Downie etc was that they were still spinning a lot of plates and looking to bring in at least 2 more. I think the Wilson injury, coupled with the good start and a massive erection on behalf of the owners after Man City might have pressed us into a shift of tactic re transfers and immediate progress on certain targets. Essentially, if we're going to have to buy a striker, let's go for it. Bring the right ones and accellerate the plan by a window, or season. If we stop at Isak the above is total bobbins, if we bring in another big singning and a loan or so, we're likely rethinking this year's goals and be looking for a strong push for Europe.
Without trying to reverse-reverse any odd psychology physics - No. No, no, no, no, no... Nothing reverse about this - We are not in for McTom. No.
We might still get Pedro, Ramos has gone very quiet... Rumour that Diaby is unhappy at Leverkusen - If they managed to swing that I'd need to go home from work... I still think they'll be trying for Maddison in the background.
Oh happy days of happy days. So that’s £120m spent. I think we can assume that is it. We can’t possibly sign more…..can we?
Manure not letting McTominay go,thank **** but I expect one of Gallagher,Maddison,Pedro or Harrison to sign withinin the next few days or I'll eat my hat.
Forget Pedro, he was option 2 to Isak CHO going to Leverkusen on loan possible Diaby movement? We will get one loan in But if Leicester want to sell Maddison we should bin everything else and get him If we get the players we want now, there’s no need for a splurge each window etc
I think if we've learned anything from this window, it's the following: - Luke Edwards is mostly a WUM/twat. - Downie, Caulkin, Waugh and even Hope are definitely in the know. They each repeatedly said we were just not interested in Paqueta. - We can pull surprises. - We have no limitations. - We are heading up. Rapidly. Now what this then also tells me, as per Caulkin/Waugh/Downie, is we will definitely get one more, and will be trying for a third, to upgrade Right Wing and the 'other' vacant CM slot. What we've also learned is we do the groundwork and test the water before effectively agreeing what the price is. Remember early in the window we were told Isak 'wasn't for sale' and we had one or two low bids rejected? Well, we circled back and got him. I fully suspect that the same may happen with Diaby and the CHO move, for me, isn't just a coincidence. So I think the final two moves of the window are almost certainly Gallagher (loan) and Diaby bought for around £45m.
