Allahyar spoke to Khabar Varzeshi (an Iranian sports newspaper). He met with a specialist in London who told him his two options are to get surgery (in which case he’d miss the World Cup) or rehab it to try and make it back to the World Cup.

If he chooses rehab, there is a chance he could re-aggravate it and do further damage. He’s going to consult with the national team doctors before making his decision.

Had anyone added Salah yet? We’ve gone from singing players that get injured just to signing injured players now.
 
Unreal. I've been watching football for a long time, and I can't think of a team have a worse start to a season in terms of injuries.

Seri / Tufan, two best players in the team, are out for weeks. Right winger out for months after a couple games. Left winger never even played a game. No worries, they got backups right? Nope, both are injured... What about number 10 you might ask. Which number 10? Oh, Traore? Is he even our player? And Salah gets injured the second he's involved with us lol. If I was Pelkas, I would cut off all contact with city and go renew my insurance policy. And I'm not even counting Baxter and the others.

What a ****ing joke. And people have the audacity to call us "lucky" lol.

I think we are at the point now where the club need to give us an update on some of the players, because this is getting ridiculous.

Sinik was supposed to be 4 weeks when he got injured, so he must be nearly back. Longman and Smith are supposed to be nearly back.
The club needs to update us here, this isn’t normal.

Isn't this problem a combination of normal injuries you would expect anyhow, new players coming in not used to the intensity of the Championship, Sat/Tue/Sat, exacerbated by the quicker turn round from last season to this because of the world cup!

I think Arveladze’s pressers update on who is returning. The worry is the others, as you say. Not sure what the situation is with Scott, for instance.

Well what a relief that is..... NOT!!!
 
Longman is a potential starter on Saturday if available and T. Smith is our only real attacking option off the bench as of now. Be stupid to think their availability is irrelevant.
