Woods, great debut in a new team although he seemed to tire towards the end, Oscar, constant threat, could have had a hat trick from three chances and was harshly booked. No-one one else showed for me for a third choice, which is rare, so... probably the away support. I thought Alfie Jones had an off day and Coyle's side was targeted for a reason. Slater too looked a yard off the pace and perhaps Greaves had been celebrating signing his new contract because he looked dodgy today at times. Randall Williams? unlucky with the shot that hit the bar, but apart from that he offered little. Our bench was so weak it could have been made out of balsa wood. The injury situation is a real worry too.
Oscar - scored 2 and left his mark on one or 2 defenders. Slater - battled hard in the middle . Woods - some nice passes . I think we played better than against Preston today but our luck from the first 4 matches ran out . We hit the woodwork twice , the first at nil each and if that had gone in ??? . Let's put this behind us . Come on City .
Oscar, good finishing again, hopefully he can stay fit. Jones, I thought he played well going forward, defending, not so much. Ingram, yes conceded 5, but a lot of it was down to the defence in front of him IMO.
Oscar Tetteh Slater Thought Jones and Woods were alright from what I saw. Stream went off a couple of times though so I may have missed parts.
Oscar - Impressive 90 minute efforts and two good goals.. Slater - Never stopped running and some fine passes Tetteh - Best game yet. Good combination with Oscar Defense had a shocker in the second half. Gave WBA far too much room. A performance to forget !!
Oscar Tetteh Slater Woods - couple of sublime passes and lots of energy. Citygirl, you nailed the match report. I know we have players coming in and to come back. I watched this in Corfu and a bit down but very positive. As OLM said, we've simply run out of players, However a WBA fan in our hotel is giving it loads and pushing his luck... he'll be in the feckin' pool before too long. I feel it coming on. The feckin' mossies can then eat him alive... the cnut him.
