Would appear to be the first clear misstep by forest this window. Jury is obviously out on lots of their signings but this seems an utterly insane fee from someone who wolves don’t actually want

Doesn’t he also play in an attacking midfielder role - exactly where they are playing lingard ? Since they don’t use wingers ? So their top wage earner and record transfer competing for one slot? Or both play and they go to one striker - with 4 or 5 competing for it ?

This might be the most ridiculous rumor I've seen so far this year

Isn’t that source a notoriously unreliable Italian tabloid ?

It is provably rubbish to drum up interest in him from his agent.

Also some guy saying that we are signing Vertonghen on a free from Benfica as reported on a Portuguese football channel?

I know we want experience but surely he is too slow for the way we defend?

Really, well he definitely has experience and is very well respected. If he is to come in then must mean he would be the guy in the middle barking the orders.

Vertonghen was too slow for the PL three years ago; I shudder to think of him in a high line now. Leadership qualities are great, but not if you're an utter liability, and we shouldn't be contemplating sticking with a formation that doesn't suit our team in order to shoehorn him in.

    Casemiro to United.

70 million euros for a 31 year old. Wow.
He is class but… surely they could have found better value?

And a five-year contract with a salary which makes him the second-highest earner at the club, behind only Ronaldo. Great work.

Typical Man United panic buy. Similar to when they spent 40m on a Matic whose legs had gone. I don't know if Casemiro's legs have gone but they have paid the same for him as Real did for that hot shot young midfielder from France.

It means Garner is out the door though. Surely

I almost feel bad for Utd fans. That club has become an absolute joke.
