Day Shift - 5.7 Not one I’d watch again. Tries being a comedy, vampire hunting John Wick-esque type of film and it just doesn’t really work.
I'm still not sure what "woke" is, I think I'm a little "woke" but I've been told that burning hamsters isn't it.
if you held a nice service with family round it was very woke if you served it with seaweed thats just Welsh
Spoiler: up to you if you wanna read this or not, it's kind of a spoiler. Black women, lesbians and illegal immigrant teens can save the world from all the unhinged men.
If you do not know wether a woman has a cervix or a penis then you are woke If you do know and admit it then you are cancelled
But I thought the people who dress like women who have a penis are not women they have a new name? I think people should be able to do what they want. Be who they want. I also think that if I don't understand I shouldn't be hung for it.
They are trans, they are part of the woke family If however you know they are men in a dress and admit it then you are cancelled
Hmmm, seems like "woke" is just another label that is used by people who should use whiskey as aftershave so that people think they are drunk other than just ignorant.
I wondered after the first 3 episodes where that 9 was coming from. After the final 3 episodes I got to agree Tremendous.
I still think a better actor could have done the transition from ****ing idiot to someone with a conscience better and still think that Egerton is nothing special. Paul Walter Hauser does the opposite and starts out with a superb performance that fades as the show goes on. I'm picking holes though great show.
Redemption at last, we all love Saul but remember Jimmy as the more innocent version tainted by the life he's had. If you rewatch BB you'll realise how unlikeable Saul is there are certainly 2 versions of the character in the 2 shows it isn't as seamless as the show makers would have you think. Jimmy was a good person ruined by the world around him and Kim could not forgive him as he fully transformed into Saul even though she was partly responsible by leaving him and not understanding that they were not toxic together and that she was his only anchor to reality. Great ending imo and one of the truly great TV shows.
I thought they were both excellent throughout The only flaw I felt was that they made Jimmy out to be cocky, easy to make friends and easy to talk to. Egerton didn't come across like that imo. We had to be told a few times by other characters that was his quality. It probably was the case with the real Jimmy but not Egerton.
