Chelsea agreed 52m deal for Cucurella. Seems an odd one. Good player, not sure why they need another lwb unless don’t see chilwell as good enough going forward and planning on making him into a lcb in a back 5

Just a thought but is the new yank owner one of these types that thinks denying your main rival (and he will see city as that) a player is a great strategy?

I presume a conversation may occur shortly that goes like this.

The good thing is they'll end up with a completely unbalanced side that's got no team spirit and they'll burn their academy again.

It's amazing how none of these sides seem to realise city's owners went and hired the entire barca set up (and ruined barca via incomplence left behind) and promptly got out of their way.

One former oil doper with a yank who thinks they are playing at the same table as the big boys wants to gazzump a current oil doper.

Brighton have the player where they want him, on a transfer request and no loyalty bonus coming plus two morons fighting over him.

[HASHTAG]#moneyball[/HASHTAG] means seeing the right stuff in a player worth far less and delivering superior performance.

If we were not here the reality of the English Premier league would be a league about as competitive as Scotland where the former and current oil doper win everything every year.

The others teams are all just vanity below. Fighting for 3rd and 4th.

In ye olden days at least a few teams could rise up and win something but since the advent of the Premier league it's become an in crowd and its gotten worse with the oil dopers.

Yes we dominated the 70s and 80s but it was based off honest success over time. Leeds had gone and forestall on, villa came on, Everton got themselves together. United won cups and so forth and so on.

Now realistically it's a remarkable occurance when one of city or Chelsea don't win

They have their money.

Origi has a bigger rep than either for going when he's not first choice.

Same for mane. He will I'm sure never even look back at the area etc but he was given every possible help here to be the top player and threw it back in our faces in the end.
