    Maybe clubs can start dedicating genuine resources to combating it. It did it’s job early doors, now the fight against it needs some genuine plan to stop it. Education at younger ages etc to stop kids being plagued by what their bigot parents tell them.

    I think that is the main problem, kids pick up from their parent's dislike for anything which they class as not being true English.

    It did become a bit performative after a while, like an empty gesture. Personally, I don’t really care if they kneel or not but there are more effective methods to highlighting and combatting racism in the game and wider society.
