I've no problem with PJ but I think his views and mine are light years apart from one another, and I don't have your energy to even begin to explain why, so chances of me and him conversing in evidence would be zero.

    Great thing is an opinion.
NHS is ****ed, it’s massively under funded and I have seen how it can be misused by many. Also the criminal waste the system has. On the flip to that it also has world class services attracting brilliant people to help those most in need.

Some people believe it’s also at the heart of a Covid conspiracy.

The actual ****ing state of that ****.

One of the entitled toffs that led this country into the **** show brexit and moved his money out of the UK into an EU country because he knew the pound would tank. The same bloke who rakes in profits from his investment company that invests in Russian gas. The same bloke whose family follow the mantra of making money out of other people's misery

Self serving leeches like this **** should be nowhere near public office

It's clear now that there was an over reaction to covid in that a blanket coverage was applied to absolutely everyone.
Was easy enough to see really, but even in hindsight we now see that what happened was not the correct approach.
Not sure why it has to be a conspiracy though?

They were literally making it up as they went along, they didn't know what to actually do for the best, nor did the world, and so they locked down/vaccinated/mask mandated absolutely everyone.

Some of the letters that came through the post, politely suggesting a person was under threat of death if they didn't lock the door and hide, it's hardly surprising some weak minds were brain washed by it all.

    Still not a conspiracy though.

Yeah that wouldn't be a conspiracy dude......my opinion is they the powers that be knew it was gonna happen and no matter what act bundling Boris and Co put out on screen it was totally different behind closed doors......it was very calculated and they got some of the laws changed in the process for future use and cashed in big-time they also got major data as 2 how easy the masses are to manipulate through the TV screen and other mainstream outlets

I understood the rationale behind that first lockdown and at the time I was fully behind it, but as it went on it became clear that the people in charge didn't have a ****ing clue what they were doing and as you say, were just making it up as they went along. The longer the whole thing went on, it became clear that the blanket approach was a clumsy and ineffective way of dealing with it all. And you literally had glaring inconsistencies like having to wear a mask when you went to a restaurant, but you could take it off when you sat down to eat.

Also the evidence coming out from the vaccines, is that far from being 100% safe and effective, for some people they have actually caused irrepairable damage. Cases of myocarditis and other cardiac related issues, which seemingly affect men under 30 in particular, have ruined some people's lives. And the idea of giving it to under 12's, who have a 99.999% survival rate is just ludicrous. The rationale that you give this to young people to stop the spread was also bollocks as the vaccines don't stop you catching the virus or stop you from spreading the virus.

You'll never get this Govt (or others) to admit to it, and whilst the benefit of hindsight is always easy to apply. The vaccines should only have been offered to those who wanted it, and to those who were in high risk groups. And after that first lockdown, we should never have had any more restrictions.

I also admit that I'm coming to this position from the benefit of hindsight, because at the time I thought those vaccines and restrictions were necessary.

Hate to sound sanctimonious but that was my position right from the start.

    Lockdown the vulnerable only.
Give vaccines only to those that need it. If you can still catch and spread it, what's the point?
No one ever gave me an answer other than protecting others, but I'm really sorry those that need protecting can protect themselves, by choosing to isolate and be vaccinated.

To be fair to the government, it wasn't just them making it up, the whole world did more or less.

I could never see why everyone had to lock down when it was pretty clear that should be just those deemed vulnerable.

We'd be in no worse a position as far as health and death, but we'd be in way better position economy wise.

    Haha.

    He'd better!

Was not death defiying for me.

Started with a sore throat - they banging headache and achy back and Knees strangely.

Then a really runny nose for a few days and just feeling nacard - plus drowsy.

    Plus overheating.

I'm in my office today as nobody is about and its been 6 days - still sweating though and feel about 60%.

    Could be a lot worse.
