28 days ain't gonna do **** all. For something like this to work mass non payment would need to start now and go on for months. They could hardly disconnect millions of households.
I still haven't received anything from British Gas since my supplier went bust last year. Suspect they're waiting for 12 months to be up before hitting me with the maximum for the year.
i doubt it tbh not with my MrsU be in credit guaranteed.....but they prefer it in their bank making interest for them rather than in yours

does that still apply in a case like Libbys where from what he said he was moved almost by Govt edict to BGCheck out the ofgem rules on back billing. If your energy supplier hasn’t correctly billed you within 12 months of you using the energy. Then they can’t ask you for it.

strangely that thought had crossed my mindI know that feeling lol
Spare a thought for all the small cannabis farmers out there trying to the best they can to get by with street price levels staying the same whilst increased electricity bills have skyrocketed.

It will if it affects some meaningful change.
In the meantime you’ll just have to go round to schlems for some cold beans on bread

if i was Libby i would want that confirming by ofgem first but since they are meant to have contacted he may be on a winner .If BG haven’t correctly billed him after 12 months, then as far as I understand it the ofgem back billing rules come into play and he wouldn’t have to pay it
Yeah i think this is where your problem is mate![]()

yeah and that doesn't mention these cases when ofgem just dump you on a supplier .You can go onto the Ofgem website and see the conditions around back billing.
I think there’s even a template letter to send to energy suppliers

So the plan is to just delay paying your bill for a month?
they still get your money in the end though?
