Just got round to listening to Neil. Was pleased to him say we needed 4/5 still but it was also about following our sustainability model. It is what I was referring to on Saturday evening, it's just a case of being patient. However, I do see the need to get bodies in soon as again, Neil mentioned momentum and it's importance.

We should get an additional body confirmed today though. Maybe squeeze another in before Sunday.
Agree completely re momentum - we cannot afford to write off the games in August ahead of getting bodies in (not that I thank AN or anyone at the club IS thinking that)
A win on Sunday would be massive

I'm going for an early morning signing announcement today.

I am talking about speaking and understanding players and their different personalities. Believe me, Neil is far more respected.
I’ll always just love him from his ore sheff wed presser in the play offs when a journo asked him about the ‘intimidating Sheffield Wednesday crowd’ and and just replied with ‘I do t see what’s intimidating about a bunch of people shouting boo at you’ whilst looking at the reporter as if he was a moron

Was going to post exactly this when I was watching that interview at the time, made the interviewer look a bit stupid really.

Superb that. It was that kind of stuff that won us the play offs I think. His calmness towards it rubbed off on everyone. Made the players jobs far easier.

Wonder why we’re loaning Simms when he was available for £500k. Doesn’t seem logical when he’s available so cheap and could have a stormer and put his value through the roof.

Tbf, no one knows for sure if he’s actually available for that, or if he is a available for a purchase at all, he only signed a new contract with Everton last summer

Cos he probably wasn’t available to buy, that was just rumours

He always speaks well. It's why he is respected from all. Unlike the previous manager who just increased hostility at any opportunity whilst stroking his own ego.

He’s a proper footy man. I’m a massive fan of the bloke.

Wasn’t inspired when we named him thought was ‘solid’ but he’s been a perfect fit.

Long May that continue.
