first up, apologies to @SAFC-D22 if I didn’t complete your form from your Uni placement. The numbers of students I’ve given placements to over the last 15 years will be in three figures so I apologise for not recalling you. Always great to be able to offer young journalists an opportunity - hope you enjoyed yours even if I ruined your experience. Glad to hear you’re working in the industry elsewhere.
As for the article, it is what it is. I don’t write much these days, I genuinely only put pen to paper when I’m 100% sure on the story. My last one was breaking the news of Preecey leaving. No negative slants towards SAFC, hopefully the club continues to produce and retain young players as it’s the best academy in the NE bar none.

No issues - very much enjoyed working with Roy Kelly during the placement, so I did take a lot out of it.
