Gessa/LoL could also be that he knew some of the plan for this summer. Remember he was being mentored by Phillips and is an effective athletic DM. However Roca, Adams and maybe even Camara would mean not even making the bench this season after being sat on it most of last season. He can play CB but no chance as Cresswell found and too impatient for another season in the 23s as rule changes mean 5 first teamers can be used to give them game time?
 
Already updated the OP with Roberts gone to QPR. Dont know the fans will react when he is the only player taking the knee. QPR refused to take the knee even though black directors and players. On a more serious note I hope Les Ferdinand can show Roberts how to hit the net
