Reminds me of Chris Waddle

I was talking to my father in law today who’s now housebound and telling him about Sunderland’s business so far I mentioned Jack Clarke and he asked who he was like. My first thought……..The Waddler! Looks lethargic and droopy legged and shoulders but then comes to life and can beat a man with ease. If he goes on to be half as good he’ll be a cracking addition

It's actually a very good comparison now that you both mention - obviously in style rather than ability. It's interesting that we've predominantly seen him on the left so far but he could be equally as good on the right if not more so. I'm really excited to watch him develop with us over the next few years, though I wouldn't be shocked if he's so good next season that we can't keep hold of him.

I was surprised him and Roberts didn't switch wings for 20mins or so last season. Both could cause problems on either side.

Way beyond our best pay packet

If thats the wages the end up paying at this level....from a club heading toward proper finanical problems...they are using a jcb to dig a hole for themselves when /if goes wrong

I fecking love Neil me. He comes across as a father figure to the young players in our team, and you can just tell theyll put everything on the line for him

Club at the minute very very much reminds me of the reidy days at the best....togetherness, youth & lads who will run through walls for each other & the manager
