I wish we'd just knock this one on the head, obvious he doesn't want to come and if he did, would his heart be in it, only here because we pay more in wage than Brugge and they won't sell to AC because the offer was ****.
Nah, don't want the ****.
But… From the players point of view, he hasn’t messed us about, on day one his agent said he wasn’t interested. We haven’t the attraction of a newly promoted team going in the right direction under a worldly coach that we had a couple of seasons back.

From his point of view we narrowly avoided relegation, we’ve sold one of our top two players and the other wants away to Barcelona. I agree with you, I don’t understand why we don’t take no for an answer.

At face value you can't blame a guy for preferring milan over leeds. When players come its about the money of the PL, nothing else really.

All i'd say is that all we get re snippets of comments from people with an agenda. Who knows if we're actually flogging a dead horse OR whether we've enquired, been told no and moved on. OR whether we're not actually being told no, and it's just rumour/muckspreading hence why the offer went in.

Only the guys involved know.

This one always seemed like a longshot to me, but what will be will be.

There are issues at Milan:
  1. No money so cannot go much higher in their offer, so will not reach what Leeds have offered.
  2. CDK will spend much time on the bench due to a very good bunch of forwards.
  3. His agent will also know that Seria A can be a graveyard. Eriksen wasnt wanted, even before his heart issue. Ramsey wasnt wanted and they were trying to offload.
  4. His wages will be at the lower end inside the club
  5. Yes great place to live, hip and happening, but when you cant get a game..

<cheers> I’m sure that was all implied as part of victor’s pitch. I imagine they use the raph story as a case study as to ‘why Leeds’

Aha sorry Gessa, guess my memory is going, maybe it was Essex with that story <doh>

Guess I'll go to the gym then for some cartwheeling practice ;)

That was Forza I think but in fairness, he should have been better than he was, a bit like Firpo

More of a business acquaintance tbf and seeing as it was three years ago he couldn’t give a **** and nor should you mukka.

Actually wasn't going to put it out but now you've said this, I was told yesterday that, there's someone in the pipeline, that there's been no mention of that we're in the early stages of a deal with and if it comes off we'll all be doing cartwheels but he wouldn't give me a name, Thought it was too vague to share but you forced my hand <laugh>
That was a long way of telling us nothing. Are you a politician?

So i have read de jong can't agree terms with man utd. Barca owe him about 17 million and chelsea are interested. If they sign him and sterling does that mean they wont need rapha. Could barca then afford to sign raph?.
