I wish we'd just knock this one on the head, obvious he doesn't want to come and if he did, would his heart be in it, only here because we pay more in wage than Brugge and they won't sell to AC because the offer was ****.
Nah, don't want the ****.

This is the smokescreen, new forward will be someone else.
Feel free to shoot me down.

Actually wasn't going to put it out but now you've said this, I was told yesterday that, there's someone in the pipeline, that there's been no mention of that we're in the early stages of a deal with and if it comes off we'll all be doing cartwheels but he wouldn't give me a name, Thought it was too vague to share but you forced my hand <laugh>

Is this the same guy who told you that we were signing someone good from Real Madrid, and then we found out it was Kiko. I'm just trying to gauge whether I need to practice doing cartwheels or not :)

Aha I have just worked out your subtle clue of cartwheels. Is Robbie Keane coming back to the club :emoticon-0102-bigsm

he's been signed to help luke ayling with his goal celebrations... not that he'll be needing them any time soon

de Ket plays in a variety of positions, he's often listed as an AM but also plays as striker and false 9/10... so not sure what position we really wanted him for, or whether it was his versatility that appealed.

I was kind of hoping we'd turn our attentions to Hamed Traore, who we've been linked with abd looks useful and more 'attainable'.. but he's definitely in the '10' /AM role, so whether that's the Roberts upgrade we're after (or whether we'd already done that with the Aaronson purchase) i don't know.

Either way, we still need a striker.

Read something yesterday from a pretty decent journos, he said Cody Gakpo wasnt the target even though Orta spoke to him and his club, but walked away with his team mate who was the real target. Brilliant from Orta if that was the tactic

Joe and patrick are our strikers. Rodrigo looks to be staying so he is back up. We may sign an u23 striker but first team need to sell before buying. A lot of prem teams seem to have an experienced keeper just in case. Meslier could learn a lot from a keeper like that.

we went for fast eddie, pretty sure they're after a striker given the injury records of bamford and joffy for that matter.

Who knows re rodrigo... i actually keep forgetting we have him when i'm looking at how the team might shape up <laugh>

Agree on the keeper
