How many psychologists does it take to change a light bulb? Only one, but it must really want to change.
It's funny you should ask because here's one just for you. All 10 hours of watching (26) 10 Hours of Paint Drying - YouTube
I know we are missing our football and any positive incoming transfer news, and further positive news of Collins leaving, but you lot are really sad and need to give your heads a wobble. Knowing BT he will have actually watched and enjoyed the 10 hour paint drying vid. Could well have been more exciting than playing chess.
Having a new fridge/freezer delivered this morning. Complained (well just mentioned really) to the owners when we arrived that those provided had inadequate capacity for our fortnight's stay - especially Peroni space. He came around last night with some courgettes, cucumbers and a vase of flowers to say there'd be a new one dropped off and installed this morning - now that's what I call concern and service!
The current two weeks is a bit of a black hole for you then Cling? I enjoy tennis but think there has been a BBC (that is British Broadcasting Corporation not a Masky shortening of another phrase with the same initials) overload this week, BBC 1, BBC 2, I Player, Red Button etc. Earlier starts, later finishes, Sunday etc. Live cricket and F1 on satellite channels only. Get 'em back on terrestrial!!!
Yep. Let's have F1 and cricket back from the satellites and give them Wimbledon in return. (The tournament)
Thick skinned me Cling. I enjoy rugby and I enjoy fishing (just about to have a bit of lunch, then off to hopefully catch a few trout). Lots of people like lots of different things. Doesnt make them right or wrong. I'm happy and not harming anyone else, so to those who dont like the oval ball or piscatorial persuits.
Well said sir. I wish I was thick skinned instead of just thick! I don't think my sporting preferences has changed since I was five. 1. Football 2. Rugby Union 3. Cricket 4. Would be baseball (not American) but difficult to follow now. Followed by many others.
Clingo.....I'm ot sure which thread it might be on but I want to thank you for highlighting 2 doors down to me! Enjoying it and getting frustrated by it in equal measure! It also reminds me of a recent two season sitcom about a recently widowed woam who suffered from somewhat demanding and over-expectant relatives. Can't remember the name and only the theme tune that was something like "you'll miss me when I'm gone!"
