The point is that Nickson, and the same applies to Carr, should have been spotting players that would have improved the squad but we’re not yet a star. Other clubs managed to do it but not us? Yes they had financial constraints but soo have plenty other clubs. Look at Brentford or Leicester before they win the PL. They found gems. What we got were known players.
