I have had to tell people in front to sit down before, only because they were blocking the view of my 6 year old. I picked seats in an area I didnt expect people to be standing much, and they dont, but now and again for big games such as the Everton one twats turn up and show no respect.

For me if you buy your passes anywhere near the away fans, or the 'singing' area you cannot grumble if the person in front is stood up all game. There are plenty of options for sitting without disturbance such as South and West.

Where do you sit? Why do we have so few fans who stand and sing and so many who remain seated at all times compared to other clubs? Yet we also have so many going on about the lack of atmosphere.

You say this every so often but it's simply not true that we are worse than other places. We have a small section that stands and sings, most other clubs have similar, some don't have a single area where people stand and sing (Barnsley always comes to mind). The idea that clubs in this country have full stands of singers is just fantasy.

Most of a similar size have more. Even Brentford has a whole end standing. And Norwich of course who after relegation and increasing their prices, cheapest adult ticket behind the goal now £536, announced on Tuesday that they have sold all their 21,500 season tickets for next season. Something they have done for the past 16 seasons.

A bit harsh fella. I stand as much as I can last season. After having 3 hip replacements and arthritis in many joints it's difficult. This was in E3 but the guys and gals around me got to know me and did all they could to make sure I could see. I understand it from both sides but in the end it's an all SEATER stadium,I certainly didn't ask for anyone to sit down in front of me.

The stewards where great too they many times told me they would find me a seat near the front if there was a spare seat.

As it would, mother in law in HRI at the minute after hip replacement. She had a fall so we took her to a&e, doctor said she was fine and wouldn't bother with an x-ray, and we should encourage her to walk, as we did. Two days later she deteriorated so we called an ambulance, they turned up 12 hours later, and she waited outside of a&e in it for four hours. The next doctor was less than impressed they'd not x-rayed her, and she had her op the next day.

That's terrible mate. I have every sympathy with her. Hope she is recovering well.

No doubt plenty of clubs get better crowds than us, but the level of participation in singing at City certainly isn't worse than average and in fact I would probably argue is above average.

I would beg to differ. Some aren’t as good as they used to be. Fans of both Sheffield clubs in my local complain it isn’t as good as it used to be and prefermaway games where everyone is stood singing and no one sits.

I think the apathy we’ve been used to over the last few years has people forgetting what it used to be like. Yes, not the best, but most definitely not the worst. There were a few games last season post takeover where it felt like the whole ground was behind the team, Swansea I think is one that springs to mind.

First time it happened it was 3 lads about 25, sat on the back of the seats. I thought they would sit down at kick off. They didn't so I asked them to sit properly and they stoof up and moved to the row behind and sat on the seats, weird but probably thought I would be a miserable **** all game!!

Then some new people pitched up who not only stand up quite a bit but also having some of the most disgusting eating habits I've ever seen. It's a weird set up, two men, one woman, one guy does not say a word when the other guy is there and just sits staring at the game whilst the other two are up and down (between pulled pork and chips) but when the main guy goes to toilet he and the woman are straight into conversation. The minute main guy returns the mute is back in his seat.

Part of me wants them to **** off and sit somewhere else, part of me is still keen to learn more, like David Bellemy when he discovers some rare group of monkeys.
