People keep asking me, how do I think Hull will do next season, I’ve said, if we get the players we’re linked with, then we’ll do well, if not, then at best an average season in mid table, with hopes of play offs, but ultimately failing. Worst case, another relegation battle, although I think we’ll survive better than last year & wont be pinning all our hopes on points deductions!
You probably are. Seems Seri's family said no so there's not much convincing you can really do. He's just set off again anyway. He's a busy guy and we simply don't know what players we're currently speaking too plus it's pre season so clubs are everywhere
If we bring in a top striker, we’ll be mid table minimum. It’s abit no **** sherlock but our defensive record was upper mid table and better forwards only helps that as it means teams don’t commit as many players forward.
I know, some of the hysteria on twitter is laughable. I understand the frustration at the media but the hysteria about us not getting stuff done 4 weeks before the seasons started is really baffling.
There definitely is, and no need to get too flustered, but I do recall you, a week ago, praising the speed with which we were doing our business.
Disproportionate number of deals go through in the last week. It's always been the case so it shouldn't be surprising to anyone.
Yes, because we'd got 5 in the building so far. Figs, Baxter, Allahyar, Traore and Tufan. We're doing great You get the knock on effect too as players become available who aren't available at the minute.
Well considering two of those are just converting loans into permanent (Ally) or re-signing a loan (Baxter) we've really only supposedly added 3 to replace the two we've sold (Honeyman and Moncur). Wouldn't say that's remarkable.
Yep! Which is what we're talking about. At this stage the speed of our business is fine but nothing amazing. Plenty of work to be done.
Not surprising to be fair, but we need bodies in the building now because the squad is quite depleted currently.
