So they go on general sale today, I’ll be buying a couple, my daughter wants to sit with the “people that sing”. I’m assuming they’ve moved because relocation of away fans. Will they now be in the north stand or further down the east stand ?

I do ....but I always remember to close the bathroom door. The people that sing don’t sit.
Members previously in E2 & E3 seem to have migrated to blocks N4 & N3 - there's a few seats left in these blocks if you don't mind being lower down - but there's plenty of room in blocks N2 & N1 - suspect these 4 blocks will predominantly be the singing area.
There'll probably be a few standing / singing towards the top of E4, but it remains to see how lively East Stand will be now that we've all been divided again.
*Not sure how old your daughter is, but worth mentioning that the offer for free passes to under 10's isn't available in the North Stand
There is the problem when it comes to atmosphere. Even clubs like Brentford have a whole end which stand up all game. We are going to have a supposed Kop End of 4 sections and amongst those will be the usual lot insisting they want to sit down and everyone else should as well. Most games more away fans will be standing than home ones, a somewhat unique situation.
I don't think he was saying "need 17-18k ... to be finanically viable". Just that those sort of figures were their reasonable expectation from 'us' in terms of keeping our side of the deal sort of thing.Tan suggested we need about 17-18k attendances this season to be financially viable, so will be interesting to see what ST/membership numbers end up at.
The North will be the standing stand, anyone who buys a seat in there to sit in, is a moron.
