Everyone who follows nufcfans, have a look at what they are posting at the moment. It involves Toon fan Rich Reid who bumped into MA and DL in the directors box after the game, he posted a picture with them, they were smashed off their face, started saying Oh look, its Coloccini(due to the lads long hair) and then had a conversation with him saying he tries to do the best for the club, even if no one likes his decisions. Have a read.

In photo's like these its usully the celebrity who looks like they want to get away. It was the other way round in this one <laugh>

Id get myself to the hospital mate

After nutting the wall the distaste is beginning to return and the appointment is booked.

It was a bit funny though that he was drunk at the game reminded me of how I was at the game last night. Just a thought while I am on posting, if 20 million was spent in the summer and no one leaves would you begin to take MA to your left bosom?

Is it bad mike is starting to grow on me...

I THINK I know what you mean though certainly couldn't agree with you...

The fact is I DO think he wants the best for NUFC, if only for purely selfish reasons...

Selling Carroll? Yes it hurt, but the fact is he has become the most expensive english player, EVER. If this can be reinvested wisely it'll certainly make sense! Plus with Carroll handing in his transfer request, his hand was certainly forced to an extent

Sacking Hughton? I certainly didn't support this decision but regardless of the way it was handled, it can't be seen as a BAD decision (Pardew isn't bad) though we'll have to wait and see if it becomes a good one...

The guy has taken too many gambles that haven't paid off, but if, after few more years, we are a functioning, safe premier league side, with genuine aspirations for European football - then can it really be argued that he has been entirely bad?

* I'm not saying he'll ever be a 'good' owner, and I'm not saying I forgive him for the way he's treated us fans or the name of our club...

Nah, we get 50m/60m in TV/Prem cash, we've got £35m from Carroll (excluding add ons) but had we not signed him, you'd have expect him to invest at least something. So I want at least £30m to go on players (plus, if we get Xisco and Smith off the wage bill and Barton re-signs for at most 50k a week, then we're looking at over £7m in wages alone!

I personally can't see us spending more than 20 million in the summer, MA wants to make a profit out of the club and in my opinion controversial it maybe but it is fair enough, he paid 134 million for the club cleared debts of however many with out going into detail, so he should. Like any investment (even though it is football, which does make a difference with the fans and because of what type of business it is) you want a return.

I reckon personally we will be sold in 1-2 years time, MA seems to be stabilising the ship pardew on a long contract, and many of the players signed up to similar deals making it a attractive prospect.
