As l said earlier Covid played a massive issue, did Glastonbury wait to see the consequences of coming out of lockdown effect their decision making in case we went back in.
Artists agents were prepared and organised sorting venues for touring knowing if lockdown was reintroduced they could reschedule, you couldn't reschedule Glastonbury.
Agreed. Never mind

That’s usually the case… A massive shame.
I remember the day she died, Saturday 23rd July, 2011.
I had been to see Iron Maiden at the arena, which was a right ****ing disaster for certain reasons, and when I got in I heard about her death. I remember thinking (selfishly), well that's just capped my bloody day off.

Finally catching up with McCartney. They've buggered about with the sound and his voice is much higher in the mix now. It is not to his benefit. However, if you can just lob 'can't buy me love' or 'get back' onto the table, who cares.

I remember seeing Tom Jones a few years back and he explained that he had to go down an octave to keep his power. The same thing needs to happen here I think.

There was definately something up with the sound, I said it last night.
What did you watch it on? I watched bbc1 on free view and the sound was a mess. Reading back, some said bbc1 on sky was even worse.

Well technically no, but Lowe was a part timer and kept disappearing.

Very good set I thought.

I always try to move on with new music but you can't ignore quality.

Too right @Smug in Boots, l set the volume high and we sat back and enjoyed the set.
I thought Neil Tennent was outstanding as was the backing.

Moving on to Wimbldon next. We have 2 tickets for Thursday centre court, but doubt we will go. The wife has had 3 cancelled appointments for removal of a growth and been informed that it will go ahead tomorrow and a reconstruction on Thursday.

We will get our money back, and when alerts come through will try and buy for next week. By the way these tickets are pre Covid when we paid for them and Wimbledon did not happen with spectators.

He'll carry on for ages because he barely sings, if you know what I mean.

But he has a great stage presence and, like you say, top backing.

Good luck with the procedure Marra, and I hope you get to Wimbledon soon.
