It's a canny performance so far. Hip hop always a interesting one at Glastonbury like. He is doing well with the crowd TBF. Shows how diverse Glastonbury is really. Plenty there know his tunes and are into it.

Never been a massive music fan but always enjoyed the Glastonbury weekend
Think this year i’ve turned more off than i’ve watched all the way through, could find anything at all tonight

Quite disappointed some of the stages havent been covered on the iplayer as well surely they can cover everything this day and age?

Stuck Kendrick Lamar on, lasted about 30 seconds before I switched over to Pet Shop Boys instead.

Or Pet Shop Boy as I’m assuming Chris has decided to get pissed on Brothers Cider instead :emoticon-0100-smile

Out of curiosity who would you rate as outstanding hip hop rap artists in comparison?

Yeah that’s been a shame, been some good bands on the acoustic stage for example

It's a tough one really. I am not into that genre massively, only the big hitters so wouldn't claim to know who is meant to be the best rapper. Seen Kanye, Jay Z, Eminem live though. All class, early Kanye was unbelievable. Jay Z at Glastonbury was brilliant.

This in terms of crowd engagement is really good like. Clearly a demand for him .

I wonder if three years of Covid has affected anything.

Certainly some weak support acts and dragging 80 year old out.

she chose the wrong company, unfortunately her father and her partner. I can't think of anyone who had such naturally perfect phrasing as a singer

Agree with this to some extent, but she seemed on a mission to self destruct.
Once the alcohol and drugs took hold, I think it was just a matter of when, not if.

As l said earlier Covid played a massive issue, did Glastonbury wait to see the consequences of coming out of lockdown effect their decision making in case we went back in.
Artists agents were prepared and organised sorting venues for touring knowing if lockdown was reintroduced they could reschedule, you couldn't reschedule Glastonbury.
