We rarely stand still ... check the trophy records since 2008 ... solid sustained progression ... certainly not worried about a few new kids on the block ... not when we've outperformed all but Citeh, Pool and Chelsea over the last decade .... United, Arsenal, Spurs (and others) have all outspent us over that period ... just goes to show, money ain't no guarantee of success<cheers>

You got worse last season.

To call that sustained progression is pushing it a bit mate! <laugh>
Failing to finish even in the top 4 after winning the PL for six consecutive seasons is quite alarming tbh.

I know mate ... just the top 8 finish and a European semi-final ... calamitous ... guess it's all relative <laugh>

PS Injuries didn't help ... half the season without 3 of the first choice back 4 was always gonna have an impact ... <cheers>

So I was right... Didn't read the rest

Stories in the Press this morning are that the Goons may have pulled out ... plus an admission that talks were never as advanced as some were claiming ... who knew? <doh>

Cruel for them to have had those simpleton Ponky types over polishing their stabilizer wheels and frantically shuffling their bookmarks ... the poor little mugs :emoticon-0136-giggl

Club has said that nobody has made an offer yet ... and Tielemans himself has stated that whilst he might go, he might also stay, loves the place and is in no rush, blah, blah ...

... contract extension still on the table ...

He's a very good player and I'm happy enough for him to stay ...although I suspect the club would be happy enough to sell him for the right price ... now or in January ...<cheers>

Flossy praying that comment doesn’t come back to haunt him <cheers>

<laugh> ... well if you skip the FA Cup for the first team in your history just over 12 months ago, possibly ... but add that in and it will do for me <cheers>

There's no doubt Leicester are on the slide and there's bigger clubs spending money like villa wolves newcastle and it'll make it harder like I said in the 1st place.

Fosse didn't like hearing the truth, so he started talking absolute ****e as usual about progression.

Unfortunately quessy has removed his lieing tongue.

Winning the FA cup is great mate, but I’m not sure it can really be a used as a measure of progression. If you won it 2 or 3 times, I’d be more inclined to agree with you.
I see Leicester as a team who massively over achieved and enjoyed a remarkable season. To say that you’ve progressed since then, is a bit mental tbh. You are probably a mid-table side, but under investment in the playing squad could cost you dearly now that more and more teams are throwing money around.

Funny and some good signings other than the Villa full back, you've been done there.

Without sounding like Fosse because I know he's no world beater, but matt Targett was absolutely amazing for us last season.. Not great going fwd but solid as a rock
