Modric has unsurprisingly signed on for another year with Madrid, his old deal was due to expire this month.

36 years old and just played a crucial role in their double winning season.

Baller.

Not surprised at all. Seemed a really poor decision on his part to go there in the first place. Polar opposite club profile/strategy to those he flourished in with Soton and Spurs.

He'll have to choose his next move very carefully, I'd have thought, still has plenty of credit in the bank but this pretty miserable stint has dented his profile, no question.

EDIT: Just remembered I set up a thread precisely for this discussion, have posted there too.

I don’t think it was a complete disaster for him to be honest.

Broke the trophy hoodoo.

Experienced what it’s like at a club with the highest of expectations.

Has now managed big egos which hopefully helps going forward in any new role.

His stock won’t have fallen one iota, PSG sack anyone that doesn’t win the CL and it doesn’t affect their career in the slightest.

There will be a project somewhere waiting for him, with his time at Spurs and now Paris, he should have the experience to correct some wrongs and push forward with his career.

Slightly random and short from Spurs (think it may be a TikTok just thrown into YouTube) but they're not wrong either, I do genuinely just randomly remember Modric. That little Croatian was an absolute wizard.

Also being linked with Toby Alderweireld and Dries Mertens.
Rich owner splashing the cash and backing van Bommel, their manager, and the new DoF, Goon sexcase Overmars.
Already got a few names in De Laet, Nainggolan and Viktor Fischer.

So place your bets, when does the rich owner get bored and the bottom falls out on them overnight?

Not sure he counts after playing for the spam, but I'll post it anyway.

No, he's not working on a kebab stall.
Kevin-Prince Boateng has extended his contract with Hertha.
My German is virtually non-existent, but I think he's bought the fans 5,000 doners to celebrate.
Seriously.

That’s a good move for both player and club imo. Fredericks is a good player with a good attitude. Not a game changer in that he will keep Bournemouth in the PL, but definitely an asset to their current squad. Scott Parker needs all the assets he can grab, because this Bournemouth side coming up, is a far poorer side than Eddie Howe ever had in the PL.

It's weird to think how, for a couple of seasons, Parker and Fredericks were in the same Fulham team

They also featured in one Spurs squad together.
3-1 comeback victory away at West Brom in November 2011.
Parker started, Fredericks was on the bench.

Even Chris Brunt (< Xavi) couldn't save them.
