its a game of football, you know that right and if it american owned how is it mine? or are you just deflecting?
Desiderata Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy. Max Ehrmann, Desiderata Read more: http://www.inspirational-short-stories.com/desiderata-poem.html#ixzz1cIkwc48O Lovely, inspiring products! Inspirational Short Stories products
You're the one claiming that there might be some issue over my safety, not him. Why would I ask him? I already know that he encourages terrorism via his online activities, as he's admitted as much.
So the Glazers aren't Western imperialist pigs, exploiting the common man for their own greed and you're not encouraging that behaviour by supporting them, then? Way to separate your beliefs from reality! I guess you apply the same thinking to cheering on a bunch of blokes that you'd see put to death under Sharia, too.
The first question has nothing to do with him. It's your assertion. The second I already know the answer to. Why would I ask him?
just deflecting i see i would suggest going to a scholar on the sharia views on the subject but you dont do that do you? oh and why do you support a jewish club? bit weird for an athiest, or is it like celebrating christmas?
Spurs aren't a Jewish club. There's a traditional element of the support that's Jewish. You don't have to be Jewish to play for, own or support the team, though. Nice to see that you can't answer any of my questions yourself. I've noticed that you often accuse people of deflecting when this happens. Why is that?
yeah. but as i said its not relevant. football fans dont literally own football clubs in most cases i enjoy football, i support united, i dont hate others for supporting other clubs i have been with mates to anfield for example.
i did more than answer the question. even offered to take you directly to the source for clarification at my own expense it wasnt acceptable to you, no point entertaining future questions imo. spurs crest is based on what is now animal cruelty
You didn't answer the question at all and simply offered a total fantasy instead. Not a bad summation of your theistic position, as it happens. I actually agree with you about the Spurs crest. I mentioned it to someone the other day. Only needs a minor adjustment really, but it's still a little off. Most people probably don't really think about it though, I guess. Man Utd's crest has a representation of the manifestation of evil on it. Quite appropriate really, but I'd have thought that it was a little worrying for someone like yourself. Don't forget to kiss the devil when you score a goal, eh?
