Wonder what this means for joemez, by all accounts this kid is very much in the trent mould, played midfield all his childhood and broke into Aberdeens side as an attacking right back.

Maybe joemez as Trents back up for more important games when needed and this kid rips up the cup games.

Perfect age for klopp to mould before being unleashed anyway. So all in good time.

Yes will be interesting to see what happens there, he can fill in at CB of course but he's behind Matip and Konate and now maybe behind Trent and Ramsay at RB. If I had to guess though I think it's Ramsey who will have to wait as Gomez will still cover Trent.

Yeh i agree Gomez is trent 1st back up this season for sure.
Matip played more games last season than ever before for us, I'd guess klopp was looking to use Gomez more but matips form prevented that.

Hoping we've unearthed a little right sided robbo here and his attitude is to take trents spot not just compete for it.
