Summer transfer window

Think it's pretty clear that journos are just linking our name to every transfer this summer. Of our 5 transfers in January 3 of them came without any real news in advance - obviously we decided against Salah, Mbappe and Haaland though.

 

Yeah, I think the selling club tell their pet journo that's the case in the slim hope it gets them a slightly better deal. The football equivalent of a second hand car salesman's "I've had a few calls about this car this morning".

That's all I can think of now when I see Salah, him not getting hugs.

Although I actually don't mind the player and can only think how confidence destroying that must have been, especially in the African Nations Cup, then to lost the Champions League, although not bad to have your name as in those two finals.
