Hopefully he gets gametime, they're meant to be signing another keeper on loan too so it's a bit odd. I can't see why we'd let him go there though if he wasn't going to get games

From what I've heard he's going as #1 as you say, we wouldn't have let him go otherwise. There was a couple of other teams sniffing but they wouldn't give assurance he'd play

He's clearly very good as he wouldn't have got such a long term deal otherwise.

It's always tough for keepers as its not like you can just give them 20 mins. They either start or don't play.

If he can play regularly in L1 at 20, he's almost certainly going to be a PL keeper

The other Posh keeper turned out to be a 19 year old Chelsea kid. Looks very favourable for Cartwright

Didn’t know that was the recognised rule tbh
Maybe George long can take it to an industrial tribunal?

Brilliant if Cartwright is going into League 1 and actually getting games.

Thing that concerns me though, what is League 1 equivalent to?

Two big potential developments coming out of Turkish media…

Haji Wright was only on loan at Antalyaspor last season, he is contracted to Danish SuperLiga side SønderjyskE. SønderjyskE were relegated last season as they were bottom of the SuperLiga. Haji has previously played in Germany and the Dutch leagues, only 24, but never really settled anywere. Interesting signing if it comes off.

Have we actually signed anybody?

What happened to the announcements on opening day?

I think Acun has found it harder to attract and sign players to come to his Hull City project than he thought it would. I suspect agents will see Acun has a big cash cow and will be expecting big money and fees for their players. Big week for City coming up.

Is the answer no then??

We have got Ingram re-signed on new long term deal...
Acun's plane did land in Antalya this week before returning back to Istanbul, but he could have been sorting out the holiday for the 500 fans. It seems to have a gone a litle quiet on the 5 day trip to Antalya which was supposed to happen in June.
