That's it then. Well, I said before the CL final I'd take losing Mane if we got Nunez, so that's great. We have a sound prospect at RB (and Joe can cover there at a pinch). We must be happy we're getting another season out of Matip, but one last whine...... we need a midfielder. We obviously had the money set aside for the dude who went to Real (can't spell his name), and we're hoping to get Bellingham next year (though that isn't guaranteed at all). Unless we're buying Bellingham now and getting him next season, surely we have the funds for a decent midfielder? Bassouma (sp) at Brighton? Don't want to be greedy, as we've got Nunez and I just didn't think we would, but I hope we're still looking for a midfielder. Would Chelsea let us go for Gallacher at Palace? £40m? Good player.

Given only has 12 months shows that Mane still a bit of a bargain at £40m even if he is 30
that’s a good signing that. They’ll be top four next season again
One league club has opened talk for Takumi Minamino .£17m is the price tag they are negotiating.
The change in their transfer policy in last 18 months is marked and they suddenly seem to be buying players to fit the managers requirements while not splashing huge amounts .

That's a damn good buy, imo. worth £35m , I'd say. Spurs really looking to knock Chelsea off 3rd perch, then us, if we're not diligent
yeah they have suddenly started making good buys in the transfer market both in terms of quality and what the manager needs .

Interesting one if they sign him. Was very good for Brighton last season in his first year in the prem. lots of energy up and down. Better going forward than defensive.
Not sure what fee will be, talk of around £50m.
Okay, but as a stop gap, 3 things to consider. Develop Joe as number 6. I honestly think hes as good as Dier. Hes fantastically comfortable on the ball - I say try it. 2. Start Trent in some more midfield roles in early cup rounds. 3. Start using Bobby more as a number 8. he can tackle, he has a good brain. All of this is not for first choice, big game 4-3-3, but we can utilise different formations and players in some games, so even if we just concentrate on Prem and CL this term, depending on how kind the early cup draws are, let's mix it up this term if we're not getting another midfielder.
