We left a lot of good posters on ja - knotty, paisley's patterned dreams, get better - and more that I can't immediately remember.
knotty left ja606 over abuse there. Anfield rap Mrs chalky left that Redinthehead is still on there, still going to games, still getting abuse
I haven't got a problem with that, Red. Most of them, as there's no actual City fans on this site, are simply pig-sick jealous of us, and they know it, and they know we know it. I can take the banter, and I can take the flak. I expect scum on GC, and if you go into Dodge City, expect Dodge City lawlessness: again, fair enough. But the Prem Matchday is just a vicious circle of Hillsborough/Heysel ****e now, and if you peep about it. you're Victimpool. When the late Tobes was modding there, at least he put his foot down on the Hillsborough stuff, but not now. The CL game had been delayed half an hour, and as you'd expect with that UEFA announcement, every slur of ticketless turnstile-jumpers was doing the rounds, along with, of course, killing our own fans and getting English teams banned for five years. I posted several vids from family and friends at the ground showing locals climbing the fences, and fans saying they'd been outside for three hours and the gates had been closed an hour before kick-off - just to be shouted down and sneered at, and met with more ****e about Hillsborough and never learning, principally directed and liked by the Chief Troll himself. I know, boo-hoo and all that. I was going to go back at halftime, when I still thought we were going to win, so I wasn't avoiding them, but they were still jizzing then about Liverpool being banned, even though by then even some of the media networks were pushing back on the UEFA/French line, especially a slur that had appeared that a gate had been forced open. But listen, it is what it is, and I'm sure they'll lose no sleep about me not setting foot there again - all I'd ask is that they don't come on here either. Safe space and all that, I don't care, but it's not banter, it's not discussion, and it's not even a robust exchange of opinions - it's just a place to go and read malicious spite, and if you answer it back, you get banned. And it's the hypocrisy that bites. So yous will have to put up with me now, but at least I know that if I don't agree with anyone here, I'm not getting banned for the sake of it.
You and I have had disagreements, not many, granted but we've been able to discuss, even quite heatedly without it ever turning personal or abusive. Why is that? Because we're both adults who don't always see eye to eye but can still argue our corner, walk away and come back the next day and get into another discussion that we do agree on. Got to say that I had my eyes opened to a few from there coming on here during lockdown.
I have no problem with people I disagree with - I'm not some snowflake. As said, my problem is when some are put in power and just become crazed with it. I've been banned a few times off there, and if it wasn't for Tobes I'd have never got back on ago a few years back, and it was literally for arguing with this guy about this subject. So I'll leave it there, but I'll say again, I hope our Mods simply ban most of them off there from our board for no rhyme or reason other than they're not agreed with - that's what goes on there.
@Diego can you post the address again please? Otherwise we'll just have to meet at the Cheese since we can all find that.
deffo not mate. i've not ever posted on reddit for anything. there's a whole universe of stuff on reddit.
I've used reddit a few times long ago. Not for football. Not much of a community spirit on Reddit. Too many people and too many just passing through on their way to other subreddits. It's why I've always preferred forums to mass social media.
