Decent half to watch, plenty of action but England don't look like a team ready for a world cup. It's getting a bit late now for experimental lineups, Abrahams and Sterling not contributing much, Grealish involved in almost everything going forward, but not enough chances being created. Italy are far more direct and could easily be 2 or 3 up but for Ramsdale,.

Agree about Ramsdale though finding it as exciting as a 'friendly' and the children providing the atmosphere erm...
 
Raheem Stirling is on the pitch to contribute 40 seconds of magic in 90 minutes.
He's been shocking for the 40 seconds he's expected to shine.

Jack Grealish is another level.

Pick your best eleven.
Make sure its got Jack Grealish in it. Make sure Sterling and Saka aren't. Replace Mount with Foden. Tell them to be more 'brave', and we're not far off.

Unlike most on Twitter I quite enjoyed the game, I thought we passed the ball well, and we are building for the WC, better to be not quite firing just yet, we need to peak at the right time.

There are days gone by when a draw with Italy and Germany would be classed as a great result, whereas now we are disappointed with a draw.

Edit: Plus Scotland got stuffed by Ireland, whats not to like.

given the histories of players such as dan james and stuart pearce, we will have to agree on the criteria for what an ex-tiger actually is.
