Interesting to see Koiki playing regularly for Northampton. Could end up facing him in the play offs if both fail in the automatic chase and don't drop out of the top 7.
 
Now that the dust has (almost) settled on a truly remarkable and unexpectedly successful campaign, who do you think will be released?

I reckon Alex Rodman, Junior Brown, Zain Westbrook, Ben Liddle, Cameron Hargreaves and some of the development squad.

I think there will probably be more. I just hope we can tie Evans down for another couple of years. He’s my favourite player. Absolutely superb.

I agree with the above would be sorry to see Rodman go but I hope Harries departs as the only defender I think we have had worse than him was Max Ehmer.

Isn't Nicholson out of contract as well if he is can we also get him tied down with a new deal

Portsmouth looking to sign Aaron Collins who has only1 year left on his contract. Get him tied down on a longer contract we want to stay in league 1 or look upwards not trying to stay in that division and looking downwards
 
Harvey Greenslade and Jamie Egan have graduated from the Academy to earn their first professional contracts, Greenslade has been training with the first team squad recently and Egan has been on loan at Hereford

Congratulations to Harvey and Jamie and the best of luck with your careers at the Rovers

Callum Camps looks like someone who may turn up at Rovers because he's just been released by Fleetwood. Isaac Vassell went from Truro City to Birmingham and then Luton, and Cardiff City have just released him. He's worth a look, because he was pretty good.

Pretty injured.

Played 3 times in 3 years. Consistent stream of injury issues, come backs and failures. Scored his only goal on his debut in 2019.

I feel sorry for the guy as every time he has tried to return he has failed.

Could be useful if stays fit but his history says that is unlikely.

Tyler Walker could be a good signing though his record at Portsmouth was not that brilliant but if he is fit that would be a bonus
 
8 year old Bailey who was a flag bearer at the Scunthorpe match has signed a contract with Bristol Rovers Academy starting in August to play for Bristol Rovers U9s. He is currently at St Anne's church academy WSM
 
No news at all on new contracts for Evans and Nicholson, which does suggest that they could be moving on.

It would be a real pity if we lost Evans, I think he'd be an absolutely key player for us in League One.

Transfer window opens on Friday and then the fun and games commences - although other clubs seem to be making a fair few signings in advance of this.

Friday we will see a few ins and outs I reckon. Some things can't really be announced yet if they are technically still under contract.
 
Read somewhere yesterday he was on a free along with an ex Man City youngster who played well against us in the FA Cup
