I just saw Michael Gove referred to as “Boris Johnson’s emotional support turbot”, and that has made me very happy.

Now he knows how most sensible people feel about the Tory party.

Worse result than the one that made Theresa May ultimately quit.

That’s 40% of his own party that don’t support him. The cabinet ministers only really do because they know they’ll not get a gig elsewhere.

Boris won't quit. Him and May are polar opposites when it comes to personality. May did the decent thing. Boris will not.

No, I don't see it TBH. Boris is a stubborn ****. He will take the heat and I will be surprised if the Tories go into the next general election with a different PM. Probably because Boris will call it within a year.

I don’t imagine he will, but it basically means there is a political bomb under his chair.

Only needs 32 more MPs to turn against him, two imminent by-elections that are currently looking precarious and a toxic cost of living crisis chipping away at the public.

He might be secure this year, but it isn’t shaping up well for him after that.

Which is why I think he'll call a general election early. He's power hungry at the end of the day. If he feels he won't win a 2nd confidence vote he'll take his chances with the public. Which probably results in dragging the whole party down with him.

He needs Parliament to vote for it though doesn’t he? Would the Conservatives vote with him for a General Election when so many of their own jobs are on the line?

Wonder if Durham Police will coincidentally complete their investigation this week?

211 corrupt, lying, disgusting snakes that have no integrity, morals or care for the people of this country.

Sickening that they voted to keep a man who has disrespected the entire country

Hopefully those who voted against him will now stop him pushing through anymore draconian laws aimed at undermining the rights of the general public and start calling him out when he inevitably lies again, in or out of the house.
They have to make his position as leader untenable and confirm him as a lame duck PM instead of the piss taking dick that he is.
I won’t be happy until a law is passed that makes Johnson visit every town centre and allow the electorate to slap the stupid out of him. That would be a long queue.
