What were you expecting? It’s a joyful celebration of everything over the last 70 years. Seems fine to me.

It’s more the audio than anything. I watching a young girl play drums and the drum sound come out of the TV before she hits the drums or cymbals!! The sound to video is way off!!! Be great to be there but it’s certainly not making good TV for me! And the posh twats commentating add nothing to it either! Not fir me anyhow

It what it is, the celebration of privilege by the unfortunate, a throw back to the last century or more possibly further. Television only highlights the gap and its not pretty. The posh commentators on Sky News are excruciating imo.

Yesterday I did partake of a Jubilee golf comp. Came 2nd 40 pts... grrr

Today watching sport...waiting now for Ukraine to beat Bale and co.

    G'kids school did Jubilee stuff.

Pubs trying to drum business up (fair enough) having jubilee parties.

I would like to think I am fiercely patriotic, but frankly i am not super keen on the Royals. Whilst even I would acknowledge the Queen has done a great job.

As for Charles he is a bit odd/looney, his sister Anne would have been better.

The young drummer girl was brilliant. On the downside, an opportunity to gut and fillet Rylan was missed. It was interesting seeing people you thought were dead, (or wished were dead). And the appearance by the Queen at tne end… amazing.

Theres families expected to celebrate not knowing how they will afford to get through to their next payday.
Millions of pounds spent on another human being that has spent a life privileged at our expense.

    Pishes me off tbf.

This outdated institution needs scaling right down , and Charles needs to retire or it could well go altogether after the Queen goes.

Pretty vocal in despising all of this antiquated nonsense.

    Bin it.

    Worried about tourism money?

Start ensuring giant companies and the wealthy pay their tax.

    That's a start.

I'm not a royalist by an stretch of the imagination, but Old Liz has queen'd pretty well for the last 70 years and I certainly don't begrudge her this day, that said, whenever she drops off the perch, i wouldn't be arsed if we ditched Royalty........its way passed its sell be date

It'll all carry on as it always does imo.

It's one of those immovable objects that I ignore and bypass rather than trying to shift.

Charles will be bolstered by William who'll keep things ticking along.

I agree, the talk is of "family" support, the balcony line ups and TV coverage suggest just who this means for the moment, astute management, at one "house" in London at least.

even tho it wouldn't bother me one way or another if the Royal Family was done away with, I also get impression it won't. As long as government can use the Royals and the gongs they give out as some kind of inducement then they will stay, plus foreign dignitaries lap it up when they are invited to the palace. Just wish those on the periphery would find a job and not have this unbelievable privilege based on birth

The amount of soft power they wield on our behalf is ridiculous.

Given the ****ehawks we continually elect as leaders, it's not a bad idea to keep a head of state on if you ask me.
