Sorry Peej that 28 years no trophies line was uncalled for.

Have you bought your real Madrid shirt or do you still have the one from our last European cup final clash?

I don’t have a dog in that fight.

I don’t know how much Liverpool or United won before they won a league title after a break. Why would I.

Don't expect you to but just the way you posted it, like that is their achievement. And my point is that for many of their fans there is no connection between the two either. The club has changed to such an extent and even ties linking them to their past like their ground has also changed at the same time.

There's a difference between turning up to a game knowing you're likely to win the league and feeling genuinely connected to the club and all its ever stood for.

There'll be more ppl turning up for the parade than those pictures show but there's not any historical reference and that breeds apathy which is why they'll never get the numbers United or Livpl will attract. When you turn up to a bus parade for winning a league title, it isn't just that generation of players and their success but how they link to padt success and history of the club.

What utter bollocks lol.

So if Saints somehow fluked a trophy no one would bother turning up to celebrate it cos we've never won **** all before?

I visited Maine Rd a few times, like Goodison it had its day. Rumours that United could be looking at a possible move due to expansion issues due to train line.
United and it’s fans will still be the same, same as when it was a cinder covered car park and club shop was 3 porta kabins in late 80’s.

You have been told the rules, plus they will want to celebrate at The Dell. Liverpool fans celebrate by watching on a Dell

Notts County fans heading to the play off final tonight hoping to honour their promotion winning team of 1925.

You quoted a post and never read it? What part of "feeling genuinely connected to the club and all its ever stood for" did you not get?

isn’t there some link between Notts and Juventus ? Something about changing to a black/white kit after playing them. Back in the early days?

Yeah I believe that's why Juve adopted that strip. Notts were the oldest professional club in the world until their relegation iirc.

Don't know mate, could be.

While on the topic I know either AC Milan or Inter Milan were going to sue Beckham, over his Miami team supposedly copying, don't know what the outcome of that was.
