Why is it okay for America to use the death penalty but not countries in the Middle East?

America, criminal though it is, doesn't execute gay people, or lasses for having a shag when they're not married, or anyone who dares speak out against the government.

These are the "crimes" that the medieval lunatics who run you are "tough" on.

If we were bought by these torturers & murderers of course I would continue to support SAFC but I would be ashamed of the owners and would want them out ASAP.

If I was a town supporter I would feel a little bit sheepish that my actual owner (the chairman of the fund) almost certainly ordered the murder of at least one person, probably more that we will never ever know about. I've read up on him and he's been described as a 'murdering psychopath' by more than one person who were formally within his inner circle but are now in hiding. I certainly wouldn't be on here listing out reasons to defend your whole setup. I don't expect Newcastle fans to stop supporting their club, although I personally know of 2 who say they have since the takeover. Its not the supporters fault so you may as well enjoy the ride. But I certainly wouldn't lower myself to list a load of whataboutery and throw them at people who are genuinely concerned, upset, disappointed or even jealous at the state of things at your club. Me personally? I couldn't give a ****. I used to. The thought of town success would previously turn my stomach. Not anymore. But I suppose I will still have a chuckle at the unlikely event of it going tits up. So your plight has become a 'no lose' situation for me and for a fair few other Sunderland fans from now on.

Great post . If I remember correctly you live in New Kyo . Fancy meeting fir a pint at the Ox sometime ?

Mags can't help but out themselves despite their duplicitous congratulations. They are turning themselves inside out with jealousy because Sunderland are hogging the limelight and the mighty "Toon" are not being mentioned. The same behemoth "Toon" that haven't won the League for 95 years, or the FA Cup for 67 years. <laugh>
Or a game of darts or 5 a side or fork knows how many years. Probably since for Jackie or Mackerm Man Doonald woz bairns like

A great post mate but only one issue with it wet it not being their supporters fault. I’d say over 100,000 signing a petition for the takeover to go through does implicate a good number of their supporters.

Fans can be excused for many things, I cheered Gareth Hall and join in with 'my garden shed' at away matches <doh>

What you can't excuse is the Gay Pride Mags who ditched their 'brave' campaign the minute Saudi money bought them off.

Thanks for the offer. Much appreciated. I dont drink though and suffer from anxiety therefore I wouldnt be much company and even going out with my family at social gatherings can sometimes give me a degree of mental torment. The thought of meeting up with someone I dont know would stress me out and there would be a chance I would bottle it at the last minute and not turn up. Again, thanks for the offer like.

Good point. I would be in the bracket that I would tolerate the new owners, not celebrate them. That first match after the takeover was an embarrassment.

No worries, I absolutely understand , I’m not great with crowds of strangers myself. If you ever want to offload , have a phone conversation, I’m just in the Plain , give me a shout
