A terrible weekend for sport. Mackems promoted, Leeds stay up and Man City win the league - more bandwagon jumpers will join in supporting ’Citeh’. It’s bad enough in East Yorkshire as it is.
I know what you mean .... but ..... what's most important is simply that we do well next season, and the season after, and the season after ......Things will then pretty much look after themselves. (At least that's how I'm currently consoling myself).

It never fails to amaze me how people want to poke their noses into other people’s business, specifically which football teams they support. It’s up to them, it’s got nothing to do with anyone else.

As someone who wasn’t born in Hull, doesn’t live in Hull and spends an inordinate amount of time and money supporting Hull City - yes.
I don't live in Hull and wasn't born there, but we're not the ones he's getting at, surely you can see the difference? Not sure what your reasons for supporting City are, but it must be family ties, like myself? Unless you did just randomly pick us out of a hat, in which I take back all I said above, and **** off ;)

Well you made a solid life choice. You can’t be criticised for glory supporting. That’s what I was remarking on.

I have never really seen what is wrong with “glory supporting” - which itself is a massive assumption being made on behalf of thousands of people you don’t know. Is there a set way of choosing a football team and no other way should apply? It’s senseless.

I still haven't seen any Man City shirts in Hull

There’s a group of local football fans who enjoy seeing us fail and live their footballing memories from behind a tv screen. It’s embarrassing but they have a superiority complex because of who they support as if it has a reflection on who they are as people.

If they go fair enough, can take banter of genuine football fans. But most of them enjoy their fan experience through a tv screen.

Have a mate who supports United but he has a season pass and goes regularly to Europe, never hear him ****ting on City because he just gets it.

The Liverpool fans who parade themselves about in their christmas merchandise who laugh at us at every chance they get on the other hand. Glory supporting weirdos
