Wolves would be due a bonus payment as part of the Jota deal should we win the league, Wolves to roll over to help us? :bandit:
"Some papers are suggesting Wolves will throw the game as if we win the league they get an extra payment for Jota. We only paid £4m initially apparently, but this can rise to £45m"

(The post before yours too <laugh>)

There are suggestions that Villa would get payment from Man City if they win the league too because of Grealish

I'm just going to enjoy it tomorrow, couple of beers and watch the last league game, celebrate our success and then look forward to next weekend.

Exactly.

No disappointment, a good cheer for a great season on the last day, at home which is always great and then please god the next time we we the lads at home they are parading the cl :)

What a season.

If I hear one twat talk about losing the league and being disappointed somehow I'll kick them in the nuts.

League was lost at the eitihad when we drew 2-2.

It was lost in November / December when we fell so far behind.

If you were going to single out a single, more recent game, surely it would have to be the Spurs result

Yes the spurs game for me.

That was our chance.

No complaints from me though. what a season we've had and it could yet get even better with a bit of luck and one last push for #7.

Will be watching round the old man's gaff with a few beers clapping the **** out of that telly no matter what occurs tomorrow.

Well we had it in our "hands" there at the eithihad to win there and be in control and since then we have not been despite trying everything.

The spurs result in the end didn't matter til west ham intervended.

We are currently 5-1-0 since the draw at etihad with the small matter of qf, sf of cl and sf and final of fa cup won.

It's just a matter of "in our hands" or not and the second the final whistle below on that 2-2 we were hoping not in control.

Tomorrow is a chance to have a good end of season party. Acknowledge the efforts of all and look forward to the cl final.

It's such a great postion to be in. A privilege tbh

It was also the hardest fixture of our league season...

Meh. Thirty eight games each and whoever gets the most points wins. Doesn't really matter where you drop 'em (so to speak).
We've both failed to win games we'd have expected to.

Saw over the last 4 years points total city are ahead by 1 point.. over 4 years. Ridiculous how tight it is. Could be 1 point difference and 3 titles to 1. Have to say we’ve been ‘unlucky’ in that respect that without city we’d be looking at one of most dominant teams around and same for city without us I guess.

it’s just a fakt that this scenario would be painful

All a matter of interpretation of your dream.

Clearly it wouldn't hurt unless Liverpool won so if you internalise that your subconscious is telling you that you are confident we will win but your fears are city snatching it away then you can tell yourself it won't hurt.

Lfc winning is all that matters :)

They can only hurt you if you let them.

City are oil doping cheats that are dead to me. Lfc are heros winning cups left and right and I can't wait to see the team getting standing ovation to take to the cl final.
