Spread the goals around a lot. Used to be that none of our midfielders would ever score. Nice to see them chip in with a few as well as the defenders

Apparently, Minamino has only had eleven shots on target this season and still scored ten <laugh>

City have dropped points in 25% of games. So have we. So that's about 19% chance of winning premier league if City and us have average opposition.

Wolves tougher than Villa... So yeah 14%-15% chance of Premier League win has to be fairly accurate.

We're also favourites against Madrid. So if 60% chance of winning the CL that gives us overall odds of maybe about 9% winning the quad.
Wolves recent form is shocking having taken 2 points from last 6 games leaving the 18th in form table. Villa by contrast have 8 pts from their last 6 .

Wolves have been very mixed.

I think the fact that this is at anfield means they will not have half the fight for this they should. They now have nothing at all riding on it as well.

Villa on the other hand.....Absolutely abject side against us so same can be said of them.

It'd be as big a shock as 2005 with us beating Blackburn and utd drawing the west ham if city lose or draw.

my view is that Vila have better capability to score even if they aren't the better team though right now they probably are the better team which is much more to do with the collapse in Wolves form.

If Gerrard has any influence at all on his players they'll at least give it a go.

Villa will be knackered on Sunday having played Burnley tonight, and Konsa is out for the season. A1% chance at best, but still a chance.

That was 1995, mate. 2005 was Istanbul.
