I expect the club will put together something a little better in the next day or two.

It's at least the second time this season the racist scum have used nazi salutes at us...but hey, we no longer need to react with our chants of pride cos...well you know...it makes us the problem ...

That crying gesture didn't age very well! <laugh>

Nothing says we sat too deep quite like how it looks like Dier and Sanchez are trying to scrub out Hojbjerg's name, which is also being absorbed by Dier's dot - although that's closely followed by how I'm not sure if it's telling us that Davies or Sessegnon were dropping back when they had the ball

And, naturally, us sitting back means there's a lot of the ball into Hojbjerg and Bentancur but not so much out, as Hojbjerg isn;t getting it to Sessegnon let alone Son while neither Bentancur nor Hojbjerg are getting the ball to Kane

On the other hand, look at Burnley's

The obvious thing there is there's no square balls between the CBs or the CMs, and given those are the sort of passes we're set up to punish it's actually quite smart of Burnley to avoid making passes that Son or Lucas could pounce on and ruin their day - however, when you see how much narrow their CMs are playing, it does beg the obvious question why we didn;t do more to punish them on the flanks as there's clear daylight between Cork/Brownhill/McNeil and Roberts/Taylor which could have been exploited by Son or Lucas cutting inside, but it never really happened

Since Conte took over we have the 3rd most points behind City and Liverpool, 3rd most goals and 3rd best defence.
Imagine what he could do if he's backed properly this summer.....

Just hope he stays if the club misses out on top 4. My worry is if PSG come along then he might be tempted to leave.

I honestly believe Conte stays this summer regardless if we finish 4th or 5th.
Obviously the summer will go along way to deciding if he stays because if Levy and Paratici don't give him the players he needs he will walk but I just can't see Levy not doing this. He needs his stadium full every game and if Conte walks this won't be the case.

I also don't think PSG ( apart from a huge wage package) could tempt him either. The French ligue is so poor.

Did anyone who was at the game notice the BT sound guy? I'd be surprised if you missed him.
****er was clearly a retired roadie for The Grateful Dead, complete with tie dye t-shirt and long grey hair.

What does that even mean?

I think it’s taking the mick out of all the deranged conspiracy theorists who are climbing the walls about us being awarded 2 penalties in 2 games.

For context we’ve been awarded 5 this season (so only 3 before the Arsenal game), which currently puts us 11th highest on the penalties awarded table, I believe. It’s the same number as United but quite a bit less than the rest of the top 6.

One of the more batshit theories about 9/11 is that the planes were holograms.
They're referred to as No Planers by their fellow conspiracists.

What is the prevailing September 11th conspiracy belief ??
My simplest thesis is that the USA funded the Osama boys to do the deed,
thus allowing :

1. the "military industrial complex" getting to try their toys out in Afghanistan
2. a road map for removing the Taliban, and "regime change" in Irag

Would be interested in seeing any that can go even more Ockhams' razor than mine.

The most Occam's Razor approach would be that the intelligence agencies missed it or were ignored.
Then those in charge used it as an excuse to do what they wanted to do anyway.
The links to their allies were ignored and obfuscated and they blamed their enemies instead.
