Nothing says we sat too deep quite like how it looks like Dier and Sanchez are trying to scrub out Hojbjerg's name, which is also being absorbed by Dier's dot - although that's closely followed by how I'm not sure if it's telling us that Davies or Sessegnon were dropping back when they had the ball
And, naturally, us sitting back means there's a lot of the ball into Hojbjerg and Bentancur but not so much out, as Hojbjerg isn;t getting it to Sessegnon let alone Son while neither Bentancur nor Hojbjerg are getting the ball to Kane

The obvious thing there is there's no square balls between the CBs or the CMs, and given those are the sort of passes we're set up to punish it's actually quite smart of Burnley to avoid making passes that Son or Lucas could pounce on and ruin their day - however, when you see how much narrow their CMs are playing, it does beg the obvious question why we didn;t do more to punish them on the flanks as there's clear daylight between Cork/Brownhill/McNeil and Roberts/Taylor which could have been exploited by Son or Lucas cutting inside, but it never really happened
