You'll be very, very lucky to still be in the tie after tonight's match.

I predict you will score, and lose 1-2. Aggregate score after new bottom holes are ripped in the Camp Nou - 5-1.

    Good luck <ok>

Yeah, but how many English players do they have to have before we can consider them an English team? Sorry, couldn't resist that one... :D

United fan in peace (The Black Rooney for 606er's)

I think the tactical approach necessary to beat Barcelona might not be something Wenger is prepared to do, but kudos to him if he continues to try and beat them at 'their' own game.

Good luck. I hope Arsenal blast them off the park tonight.

Thinking about it - has there ever been a European clash where an English team played a foreign team and the foreign team had more English players that the English one? Possibly whilst Beckham, Owen and Woodgate were playing for Real? Or Hargreaves at Bayern?

EDIT: Or has any team in general played a club from a different country, with the foreign club having more players of their opponent's nationality?

A foreign team that had a few English players was Real Madrid, that's the only team I can remember of. However, English players do not perform on a consistent basis outside of the PL, is it because they find it difficult to adapt to a different playing style or could it be the language barrier?

The only player that I can remember of who played tremendously well was Beckham. Owen and Woodgate experienced nothing but being bench warmers. Even though English playing style isn't the best of all, it's always going to be hard for a English player to adapt to foreign leagues.
