Next QPR Manager Odds - Correct as of 29th April

John Eustace: 7/2
Sean Dyche - 6/1
Slavisa Jokanovic - 7/1
Daniel Farke - 7/1
Gareth Ainsworth - 8/1
Liam Manning: 8/1
Chris Hughton - 10/1
Daniel Stendel - 16/1
Joey Barton - 16/1
Karl Robinson - 16/1
Gianfranco Zola - 18/1
Jonathan Woodgate - 18/1

I can't see how it can be Eustace given how close he has been to the debacle of the last few months.

If there really is no way round our budget constraints then it's Ainsworth for me as he understands the mid-tier professionals we will need to work with and can always fall back on passion when the talent isn't there on the pitch. Otherwise Hughton if he would be willing to work with a small budget again. Dyche is a pipe dream.

I'll go for Daniel Stendel. I've heard of all the others.

Not Dyche for me...both character wise and in terms of the football his team's play, not for me.

Farke unrealistic imo, and Ainsworth seems happy at Wycombe...

Looking further down the list, don't know much/anything about Chris Stendel, and I reckon Zola/Woodgate/Barton are on the list as clickbait because their names are well known.

Jokanovic's record at Sheffield United was very poor, so that leaves us with Karl Robinson or Liam Manning. Then the question is, what can we offer them to tempt them to come to us, and leave clubs where they are doing well?

I entirely disagree with your dislike of Warburton and get the impression that the majority of QPR fans find him decent, honest, likeable, and have huge respect for him.

I completely agree that most fans completely disagree with me.
I've never liked Hoos either, but most seem to.

So you are trying to say, using an immense amount of words, that the past 17 games have been absolutely ****, completely chronically bad to the extent that there is obviously something very seriously wrong, but we, as mere fans, can’t know what that is, so we should keep the manager who is a lovely bloke (ie very media friendly, great for journos) and would probably be the answer for Man Utd given a chance, because nobody could possibly do the job as well, let alone better.

Left me confused, to be honest.

Precisely.

Wycombe don't exactly play progressive attractive football either.

They really pluck these names and odds out of their arses don't they?

Not sure I like Hoos either, all this splitting up of the singing support / family area he seems so rigid on and it doesn't help get the crowd backing of the team seen/ heard from afar anyway. But overall he seems to have done a good job until now this with
Warburton .

Something has clearly gone wrong with the team performances and attitude in the last 10 odd games.

I have no idea who will be our new manager, but I doubt he will be better than Mark Warburton. I really hope that I am proved wrong with this statement.

I would have given MW one more season with clear goals.

Overall, I think Mark Warburton has done an outstanding job in very difficult circumstances.

I really hope that he gets a great send off today. He deserves it!

The Times reporting today that QPR board has included ex Norwich manager Daniel Farke in short list, plus Slav Jokanovic and Chris Hughton.

Farke had been manager of Russian club Krasnoder but left after Russia invaded Ukraine

What did you make of the team selection today and the overall performance?

l don’t mind Farke being shortlisted by think Houghton will get the nod.
