Sven's just hedging his bets here, which is quite a clever move really. If we get promoted then I suspect Hobbsy will be off permanently because as much as I love the lad he isn't (and I'm not sure whether he ever will be) Premiership standard. By bigging him up and appearing reluctant to sell we'll be in a far better position to drive the price up if this happens.

If we don't get promoted we can simply recall Jack, who will think that we never wanted to sell him, and we've got a good champo player back on our books. Hopefully he'll have had a good spell with Hull and will be feeling confident and wanted by Sven who can put him back in the side. We don't need him at the moment so why let a young lad rot on the bench?

Good business all round and I hope he does well for you Tigers.

Spot on matey .... I hope NP has out FOXED (pardon the pun) and got an offer in the lad at a price we will pay though. He has a lot of potential oooops sorry no potential at all ...... ( dont want to push his price up)

I have to admit I was a bit surprised to see that Jack's played 30 times this season! He's never really been able to string a number of games together though, as most of the time he's been coming in as cover for the injured Vitor (who gets injured a lot). I'm sure Nige will have brought him in to play him and I hope that if he gets his chance it's for more than just 2 games in succession - even if he's back-up for you lot that's better than here where he's currently 5th choice for his position and stands no chance of getting a game. I'll be watching out for you more closely now to see how Jack's getting on anyway and good luck against the top 6!

If Phil Brown can get two straight seasons in the Premier League then I think Sven should be aiming for the Champions League spots next season.

Sorry Hull bigger then Leicester. No chance we have been in the prem a lot longer then Hull and our highest finish in the prem is 8th. We was the last ever team to win a trophy at the old wembley.

Im not saying your a small club because last 10 years as a club you have grown massively.

Where were you then? Division 2 maybe?

We were 8th in the premier league on merit and you were in Division 2 on merit.

Just like we are now 7th and you are 10th. Its the way the game works mate.

League table - Leicester 7th/Hull 12th
Form table - Leicester 2nd/Hull 4th
Head to head - Leicester 1-1 Hull/Hull 0-1 Leicester (we were shocking in that game and it's the only game we've lost in the last 16).

There's not really a fat lot in it.
 
I haven't seen hobbs play but he did well at Liverpool and was rated by staff at melwood I feel he is a good acquisition and wish him well i think we could make playoffs
