Good afternoon soap-dodgers;)

I have looked at Newcastle's remaining fixtures and I am guessing that we will end up on about 50 points.

Newcastle v Bolton - Draw 1pt
Newcastle v Everton - Win 3pts
Stoke v Newcastle - Draw 1pt
Newcastle v Wolves - Win 3pts
Aston Villa v Newcastle - Loss 0pts
Newcastle v Man Utd - Loss 0pts
Blackpool v Newcastle - Draw 1pt
Liverpool v Newcastle - Loss 0pts
Newcastle v Birmingham - Win 3pts
Chelsea v Newcastle - Loss 0pts
Newcastle v West Brom - Win 3pts

So, this should see us finish mid table, maybe even top 10, which would mean us having had a really good season. (far better than most of us could have hoped for)

How do you think that your remaining fixtures will pan out and how many points can you see yourselves finishing on?

I have to go into a meeting in a few minutes so may not be able to reply until later, but I would be interested to know what you think that your final points tally will be.

I landed us on 55 when i di it on monday, i'll have to wait till i get home and i'll put my predictions up for where the points came from.

I had you lot on 51.

everton away - draw 1pt
arsenal away - lose 0pts
liverpool home - draw 1pt
city away - lose 0pts
west brom home - win 3pts
brum away - draw 1pt
wigan home - win 3pts
fulham home - win 3pts
bolton away - draw 1pt
wolves home - win 3pts
west ham away - draw 1pt

54 points, but if we can't sort our defence out then it will be less, and of course our last 7 are all winnable, but on the other hand, though it's what i've predicted, i can't see us going all 7 unbeaten, maybe a cheeky away win in there to balance it out.

you'll do well to beat everton at home, but i can see you beating blackpool, they are dropping like a stone. either way, 50 points or so is a cracking return to the prem for your lot. for us, it depends if campbell, welbeck and turner all return to form sharpish, and if catts really is out for the season. i would have taken top half at the start of the season, but all the chat about europe was a bit ambitious, we clearly need more strength in depth and someone who can defend a cross. all bodes well for next season though. the two NE teams in europe, 2012-2013..?

Thank you for your warm and hospitable welcome Bart. It's nce to know that you have not yet exhausted your repertoir of childish comments.

Looking at Sunderland's fixtures I am guessing that you will finish on about 54 points, so yes, that should put you above us.

Will this points total be enough for 7th place, and probably a european spot?

I think we'll get 7th if we get 54 points mate, Bolton have some very tricky fixtures indeed, as do you lot, we need to pick something up at Everton, and hopefully (and i know it's difficult) something from either City or Arsenal away, but i think we are more than capable of beating Liverpool at home.

Spurs, even with their injuries, fielded a better side than Liverpool have, and for 40mins we outclassed them.

And that Henderson will play forever, even during the off season, because I love him and Brucey will definately definately not sell him in the summer

the only prediction i am confident in, is that my above predictions will probably be wrong.

Me too.
